Tubajon

Tambungon Baby Shark Sanctuary

A marine sanctuary in Tubajon where small sharks and rays can be spotted in the shallows — a rare find in the province.

This is a genuine stop on our routes, but we have not yet published verified descriptive detail for it — travel times, facilities and conditions are being confirmed locally. Ask us and we will tell you honestly what a visit involves.

Tambungon is one of those places that reward travellers willing to get off the obvious routes. The sanctuary hosts small sharks and rays in remarkably shallow, clear water — an unusual encounter given how close it puts you to animals normally seen only on dive trips.

Tubajon is at the eastern side of the main island. Access is possible but involves travel time and local coordination that makes it more practical as a dedicated trip than an add-on to a standard island-hopping day.

How to get there
Not part of a scheduled Laaganan departure — the sanctuary requires separate access arrangements that don't combine easily with the standard routes. Ask us if you want to visit and we will tell you honestly what it involves.

Harder to reach than our island-hopping and heritage stops. Best treated as a standalone day rather than part of a package.
