About this tour

The same shared-boat Basilisa route as our day joiner, with the problem of the night before solved for you.

The boat leaves Don Ruben Port at 7:30 AM. If you are coming in from Surigao, that is not a departure you can make on the same day — which is why most joiners end up hunting for a room the evening before, usually at the last minute and usually at a walk-in rate. This package takes that off your hands: a twin-share room at Island View Suites in Poblacion, San Jose, booked and confirmed as part of your tour.

Island View is DOT accredited and a short ride from the port, with aircon, hot and cold shower, and wifi. You check in from 2:00 PM, sleep, and are at the boat in the morning without having arranged anything yourself.

If you already have somewhere to stay, book the day-only version instead — it is the same boat, the same route, and ₱1,000 less.

Day 1 — Arrival and check-in

Day 2 — Basilisa island hopping

Times shift seasonally so guests are seated before sundown, and may be adjusted for weather, sea or road conditions.

  • A light jacket — the mountain peak cools quickly after sundown

  • A camera — the light between 5:00 and 6:00 PM is the reason people book this
  • Valid ID, plus senior citizen or PWD identification where applicable
  • Swimwear, towel and a dry bag for the island-hopping legs

Check in at Island View Suites, Poblacion, from 2:00 PM on day one. Meet-up at 7:30 AM at Don Ruben Port on day two.
Weather & safety
Sea legs operate only with Philippine Coast Guard clearance. If sailing is suspended, guests are offered a transfer to the inland heritage circuit, a reschedule, or a refund of the sea portion.
Booking & cancellation
A 50% deposit confirms your booking; the balance is due at least two days before your tour date. Deposits are non-refundable, but your slot is transferable to another person. Island-hopping joiners can be booked from a single seat: we pool you with other travellers and the boat sails once ten seats are taken, and if your date does not fill you may move to another date or take a full refund. Sunset combos and land tours run at their published minimum group size — below it you may book the shuttle separately, move to another date, or take a full refund. The accommodation night is booked on your behalf once your deposit clears and is not refundable separately from the tour.
Accessibility & fitness
Please advise us in advance of any medical condition, mobility limitation, or pregnancy. Viewing decks involve short walks on uneven ground and are not wheelchair accessible. This is a full day on and off a boat, boarding from the beach.
Children
Children aged 5–10 pay 50% of the adult rate. Children under 5 travel free, without a separate seat or set meal.
