This is a genuine stop on our routes, but we have not yet published verified descriptive detail for it — travel times, facilities and conditions are being confirmed locally. The tours below tell you exactly when we visit.

Hagakhak sits within reach of two of our routes rather than one: the Libjo island-hopping run opens with it, and a second Basilisa route pairs it with Lake Bababu and Pagkawasan. Which one takes you there depends on the day you travel and what else you want to see.

The season matters more here than at most of our stops. When the habagat is blowing, this is the first thing to come off the itinerary.

How to get there
Visited by boat on day two of the Laaganan Ultimate 3D2N, on the Libjo route. Our guides also reach it on a Basilisa route alongside Lake Bababu and Pagkawasan Garden Beach.

Visitor reminders

This is one of the stops the habagat can take off the itinerary. During the southwest monsoon — roughly June to October — it is the swell on the day that decides, not the date: some departures run it, some do not. We would rather tell you honestly what your dates allow than promise a stop and drop it on the morning. Reached by boat as part of an island-hopping route. Sailing requires Philippine Coast Guard clearance; if it is suspended we move you to the inland circuit, reschedule, or refund the sea portion.
