A river runs down through the forest and opens onto a sand bar, with turquoise shallows immediately offshore giving way to deep blue water. Steep green ridges close in on both sides.

The geography is the reason it stays quiet: the beach itself is reached from the water, not by road.

How to get there
Reached overland to Cagdianao and then by boat for the final stretch to the beach — our guides run it as a Cagdianao day tour paired with Sayaw Beach, which sits close by and roughly on the way from Cagdianao proper. This route is run by our accredited guides but is not yet published as a fixed-price package. Tell us your dates and party size and we will quote it.

Visitor reminders

Cagdianao is at the southern end of the province, a longer run from San Jose than the island-hopping routes, and the beach itself is only reachable from the water. Worth planning as a day of its own.
