Cagdianao is at the south-eastern end of the Dinagat Islands, on the side that faces the open Pacific and, across the water, Siargao. It is the part of the province that visitors almost never see — and no other operator on the island sells it.
The day is a long one and we run it door to door. We collect you from your accommodation in San Jose at 7:30 AM, drive south to Cagdianao Municipality Port — about fifty minutes — and take a boat out from there. Neither beach is reachable by road alone, which is the reason this corner stays empty.
Sayaw is a low sand spit with nothing built on it: no cottages, no toilets, no shade but the trees. Hinabyan is the other kind of beach entirely — a river comes down through the forest and opens onto the sand between steep green ridges. Lunch is served at Hinabyan, and you have the early afternoon there before the boat runs back.
You are back at your accommodation by about 4:35 PM.
Golden Beach Resort, also in Cagdianao, is a separate option: it sits on the mainland rather than an island, so it is reached entirely by land, with cottages, a function hall and a swimming beachfront. We have not timed a combined day yet — if you want the resort included, ask us and we will tell you honestly what your date can fit.
