What to pack for a Dinagat island tour
A short, specific list — including the one item almost every guest wishes they had brought.
This is the list we give guests when they book. It is short on purpose.
Bring these on every tour
- A light jacket. The mountain peak cools quickly after sundown. This is the item guests most often wish they had brought.
- Comfortable walking shoes. The viewing decks involve short walks on uneven ground.
- Sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses.
- A camera. The light between 5:00 and 6:00 PM is the reason people book these tours.
- Valid ID, plus senior citizen or PWD identification if a discount applies to you.
Add these for island-hopping days
- Swimwear and a towel.
- A dry bag. Protect phones and cameras from water on the sea legs — we are not liable for damage to personal gadgets, and a dry bag costs less than a phone.
What you do not need to bring
Entrance fees, cottage and docking fees, and shrine donations are already included on the tours that visit those places. Bottled water and trail snacks are included on our land circuits, and every package includes a set meal — the specific set is itemised on each tour page.
One note on timing
Our departure times shift through the year so that guests are always seated at the peak at least thirty minutes before sundown. Check the itinerary on your tour page rather than assuming last month's pickup time still applies.
