About this tour

The Basilisa island-hopping route and the inland heritage circuit, run as two separate days rather than crammed into one.

We used to sell this as a single day. It does not work: the four island-hopping stops are a full day on their own, and the boat does not get back with enough daylight left to drive the heritage circuit and still be seated for sunset. Day one is the sea; day two is the full land circuit — the PBMA Shrine, the Island Castle and Yamashiro — finishing at the Basilisa peak for sunset and dinner.

No overnight is included — most guests book this while already staying in San Jose. If you would rather have accommodation, breakfast and the second island-hopping route folded in, that is the Ultimate 3D2N.

Highlights

What to bring

  • A light jacket — the mountain peak cools quickly after sundown
  • Comfortable walking shoes for the viewing decks
  • Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses
  • A camera — the light between 5:00 and 6:00 PM is the reason people book this
  • Valid ID, plus senior citizen or PWD identification where applicable
  • Swimwear, towel and a dry bag for the island-hopping legs

Weather & safety
Sea legs operate only with Philippine Coast Guard clearance. If sailing is suspended, guests are offered a transfer to the inland heritage circuit, a reschedule, or a refund of the sea portion. If sailing is suspended on your date, guests transfer to the full Sunset Heritage Tour circuit and the difference is refunded.
Booking & cancellation
A 50% deposit confirms your booking; the balance is due at least two days before your tour date. Deposits are non-refundable, but your slot is transferable to another person. Island-hopping joiners can be booked from a single seat: we pool you with other travellers and the boat sails once ten seats are taken, and if your date does not fill you may move to another date or take a full refund. Sunset combos and land tours run at their published minimum group size — below it you may book the shuttle separately, move to another date, or take a full refund.
Accessibility & fitness
Please advise us in advance of any medical condition, mobility limitation, or pregnancy. Viewing decks involve short walks on uneven ground and are not wheelchair accessible.
Children
Children aged 5–10 pay 50% of the adult rate. Children under 5 travel free, without a separate seat or set meal.
